Cheatham County Animal Control

Our MISSION

Cheatham County Animal Control is tasked with the important job of ensuring that domestic animals receive the basic standards of care as afforded by the law. We help animals that are injured, neglected, lost and abandoned. We aspire to not only provide refuge for the homeless, but to rehabilitate our animals physically and emotionally, and find them loving homes.  A no-kill shelter since 2019, CCAC strongly believes that the foundation for success includes high rates of spay/neuter, community involvement and relationship building both locally and beyond to give our animals every chance at success.
